can‘t you really not hear?

i‘m yelling just so quietly

you’re not paying attention

I believe you’re ignoring me

don’t want to be a bother

i’m trying to be nice you know

but if you keep dismissing me

I’ll be forced to put on a show

this disregard has got to stop

my ideas need to get the hell out

it’s important you acknowledge

otherwise I might began to shout

don’t care that you trying to sleep

or other things on your mind

when I need you to recognize me

you certainly know I’m in a bind

clear off what’s on your schedule

wipe away whatever’s on the slate

it’s me, creativity you’re telling be quiet

and I don’t give a damn that it’s late
