Well What Can I Say
Well what can I say
I'm 53 years old as of this day
Once again I've been all around the U.S. of A.
Saw plenty makin' the pay
Decent as they are in the way
So many of a man work hard and play
Yet the forces of dark-ness
Cause me a little more then stress
As I set out for a poor man to bless
I've heard plenty of fuss and fess
For me so many could give a less
America knows it's in a huge mess
I never go love-liss
I give Gods only begotten Son a kiss
Surpass his anger then go on beyond a state of bliss
So many of man diss
My God puts up with all of this
As in my ear another serpent decides to hiss
I thank Jesus for what he did for me
At the cross I gained sight to see
He shed his blood so together forever we will be
Here I am on bended knee
The Good Lord hears my plight... my plea
It may not look like it... I am free
