Night and day

Is that what we are?

Two beings forever missing each other

You are the sun

Everything and everyone loves you

You give off warmth

You give life

You're always so warm

Your smile has a glow

I am the moon

Few love the night

I'm cold oh so cold

Always freezing cold

Dark seams to follow me

People bring their own light

They search for light when I come out

Night and day

I don't want to miss you forever

Why can't I be a cloud

Passing by you

The sun of the world

But I must miss you

At least I always know you chase after me

But we still miss each other

You could also be running

Running away

From my cold darkness

For I am the moon

Cold heart of the world

But it still beats

And hurts

And you stole it

I'm coming up for I am pulled

But you're there

Why are you there

I pass by blocking your light

People must be mad

You tell me

You are not cold

No one hates you

Stars

Stars are what I see in your dark eyes

Look as they adore you

They buy protection from me

I watch as they gaze upon you every night

How I envy them

I'm being pulled away from you

The sun

Giver of life

Until the next hello my beautiful moon

For you show every beauty of the sky

I hide the beauties

Night and day

We might be different

For you are the sun

I am just a moon

Light years away

But still trying to be close

I am not so cold when you bring me warmth

You are the sun

The sun of all the worlds

Yet my world is the only with life
