The Beautiful Mermaid
Down below the blue ocean,
She sang a perfect melody.
I was captivated by her sound,
Drawn to her sweet tone.
I yearned to find her,
Gently kissed her lips,
Envisioned her body,
Longed to hold her tight.
I dove into the ocean floor,
Seeing her sitting alone.
Then I discovered she was a mermaid.
She turned her head and smiled.
Holding my breath,
I couldn't blink my eyes,
As she leaned in to kiss me.
I stared into her blue eyes,
She hummed softly.
Suddenly, I blacked out.
I woke on the sandy shore,
Thinking I might be insane.
A bright light glowed in my palm
A crystal bracelet was left behind.
Was it all a dream?
Could she be real?
Someday, we’ll meet again
The beautiful mermaid.
