What He Made Me Feel

When I lost hope in life, He stretched His hand out and walked with me. When I didn’t have life left in me, He breathed life into my soul. When I felt like life had taken the better part of me, He gave me a new purpose, a reason to keep going. It’s hard to understand why He would do this for me when I felt unworthy, but in those moments of darkness, He showed me that my worth wasn’t determined by my failures, my pain, or my past.

I still don’t fully understand why He would love me so much, but what I do know is that He was there during the hard times. And He didn’t just offer words of comfort—He breathed life into my spirit, reminding me of who I truly am.

In Ephesians 1, He speaks to me, and He speaks to everyone who’s ever doubted their worth:

“You are loved. You are redeemed. You are forgiven. You are chosen.”

Even when I felt abandoned, rejected, and like I was thrown away like trash, He was there, reminding me of my true value. In those moments, I realized that I am not defined by the hurt others have caused me, nor by the mistakes I have made. I am defined by His love and grace.

I don’t understand everything, but I understand this: He is my all in all. He is the one who lifts me up when I feel too weak to stand. He is the reason I can still find meaning in life, even when everything else feels empty.
