Archangel
The reconing came,
And your name was called.
The scrolls unraveled,
And the trumpets bawled.
The Mighty stepped forward,
And beckoned you forth.
Your new body shimmered,
You've shown your worth.
Your head held tall,
Chin held high.
One foot forward,
You've never been small.
In life you were brave,
The fiercest of warriors.
You loved with passion,
With a smirk and a scowl.
So the Mighty recognized you,
And gave you a crown.
He dressed you in glory,
Then said, "Come along.
Your pain is now ended,
By my side, you belong."
In life you were loved,
In death you are missed.
Your memory lives on,
Just as you wished.
