Eclipsed in Poison

Beneath the shroud of a mourning sky,

where twilight lingers, cold and dry,

two souls entwined in fatal lace,

a love that’s beautiful, full of grace.

Your voice, a whisper embossed with steel, soft as silk, yet sharp to feel.

Your touch, a thorn that draws me near,

weaving wounds I hold most dear.

We bled our vows in crimson lines,

etched in marrow, scorched in time.

A bond sustained through death’s embrace,

haunted echoes we cannot erase.

You swore forever in fire and frost,

a promise carved, a blessing lost.

Yet even as the grave divides,

your shadow lingers, undenied.

Oh, how we wane, yet never fade,

entombed in love’s cruel masquerade.

For passion laced in death’s design

is bound to linger, bound to bind.
