Sun and Moon
My love, where has time gone?
A year flown by, night and at dawn.
3-65, 3-66 if you count leap year,
I thank God that we are still here.
In our wanderings and our talkings, our busy days and long nights,
Each day another one, but so different looking back.
Some days, a kiss was enough, and days we figure ourselves through fights,
Every moment with you was enough, nothing in lack.
Days I wonder, why is it so hard, so difficult, when we could just understand,
But I learned love is its richest when going together, hand in hand.
So much to remember, to reflect and to cherish,
May the bitter fade away and the sweet never perish.
But it is through the hardship where I see God's faithfulness,
Carrying us this far through the distance and time.
I never asked for more, for with you there is nothing less,
Writing about you, words will find a way to rhyme.
Sun and moon, each day passing by,
I never want a day without you,
Even if it is just us saying goodbye or hi,
I love it always when you call me boo.
Happy one year, my love, I will fight for us,
My cute, sweet, beautiful woman, my forever crush.
Cannot wait for two years.
