A little black book

My secrets are in a little black book. They're my ambitions in life, the usual sum: graduate, college, Ph.D. Except I fear that no one will understand me. Secrets are kept so people can't peek into the mind and it's inner workings. My secrets are hidden from cowardice that others won't understand why I want to accomplish. It's not because I can't or that I'm too shy. I know that people don't think the same but these secrets are my thoughts, loves, and shames. Rather I keep secrets between myself, a litte black book, and no one else. Because she always remembers what I say, holding fast to all my scribbles. That is why I trust her my secrets, my words, and my ambitions.
