I walked alone in this path,

Had no one to call my own

Life was tough and smile was rare than tears

I was tired and scared,

I didn't trust anyone in my life

For i couldn't trust my own conscious

I distanced myself

I walked out on those who tried to keep me close,

Ruined so many relationships.

I was the most broken person

I broke and hurt everyone whose intentions were pure

I felt they were onother damage and i didn't want to involve them in my life

I hated anyone who spoke about love

I had hatred passion for anyone who showed me love

I did not want to involve anyone in my heart,i was cold

Freezing and extremely hurt yet i couldn't admit

But when i met you changed everything

My mindset,my heart,you melted my cold

You made me believe that true love still exists

You gave me time to realise whom i was

Many are the mistakes i did that hurted you

But still gave me space to correct them
