Enough

One truly doesn’t know

the reasons why

yet still choose to fight

through the roughest weather

most turbulent days

and scariest nights

enduring pain

pain that shouldn’t be

pain that feels unfeasible

disassociate

thats it

thats the answer

disregard the monster

pretend its not there

then, there is a light

at end of what feels like

an extended tunnel.

“Nothing lasts forever“

becomes the new anthem

it can’t rain for e v e r

right?

unpredictable time frame

when the monster

is holding your hand

tight

Still, the fight is worth it

that light

at the end of the tunnel

is a beaming rainbow

waiting to wrap you in its arms

and put an end to the pain

let go of his hand

enough is enough

right?
