There's love in my heart

Overflowing blood rushes to my face

Making time stand still when I look into your eyes

Warm amber shining as they catch the sun

I can't help the jealousy that takes over when I look at how beautiful you are

Nothing but a bumbling butterfly but still so free

I can't stop the shadow that blocks out my moon leaving me in the dark cold

A coiled snake wound tight and frozen

But I push through, letting your soul light the way

Rough and warm

Face hot, you have me feeling silly

For the fabricated fear I let control my mind

So kind but all I do is bite
