In A Dream

When he saw me coming, dirty-white and all his, Friedrich adopted a new stance. "Where did you get one?" he asked, pointing to my Stetsun. "I found it in a dream and made it real" I replied earnestly. So we danced around in the open air with all our pride. It was not enough but the sun shone forth and melted down on our backs like a golden arrow. This was our dream now.

I had found him slumped over a seat, in pain, confusion and total disarray. "Never mind", I had said and smiled. Then, racing towards us came a woman who looked straight into our dimension. She knew us totally and with that, she grabbed tight hold of my hand and then dipped her head as she reached for my husband's glory. That was the first time in a long time and we will never forget it. And thus we said "thank you Zarathrustra".
