When I close my eyes...

In a dream I was happy. I was content with myself and never seemed to doubt. Trusting and kind, I was surrounded by people who loved me. I exceeded all my expectations and was appreciated by others. I went to bed every night with a smile on my face, wrapped in the arms of my love.

Oh, if only that dream could become a reality.
