In Spite Of

Fear of

Speaking in public

Driving on highways

Meeting new people

Crowded spaces 

Changes

....yet, in spite of it all

I do it

Even as I shake and stammer

Avoiding eye contact

And appearing weak

In actuality,

I just forced myself

To summon Herculean Strength

To live an average life
