I Swear

I swear I'm not losing my mind

but I can feel myself dying

as the days pass through

this draining storm in my body

I swear I can't find help

because how can someone

understand that each day

is meaningless to me

and that all I do is sleep

I swear I'm running out of time

because the hourglass is almost empty

and I can't seem to care anymore

I swear I'll be dead soon

as I feel the time is ending

and all I can think of is nothing

while people seem unaware

that I won't even say goodbye

when I leave for my ride out of here.
