Finding Faith

I saw God

In a world filled with color and light.

I saw God 

In my parent's proud smile.

I saw God

When life was as easy to sail as toy boat in a bathtub.

I lost God 

When my great grandma died.

I lost God 

When the world was reduced to black and white.

I lost God 

When I learned not to trust.

I found God,

A light of hope shining in the blackness.

I found God,

When I jumped and someone caught me.

I found God,

When someone actually belived in me. 

I see God.
