Oh the wonderful times we spent in the park

The countless nights and memories, together in the dark

Where we shared our first date, our first kiss, the first spark

Nothing could ever compare, to our memories in the park

The memories flood in, of us walking hand and hand

When we laid on the grass, besides the playground and the sand

I remember the first memory, the first moment we shared

Holding you close, keeping you warm, showing you how much I cared

Longing for what was, I now drive by every night

By a place that once gave me feelings of love, warmth, delight

As it sits there empty, waiting for our love to reignite

A part of me feels empty, but I know I'll be alright...
