Fire- raging,

heat emanating from smoky eyes.

tendrils of orange around

chalky face,

acrid words spat from fiery tongue.

boxed in, and suffocated

limp curls plastered to pallid cheeks

embers, gone cold

soot-smeared brow and blank stare

Ashes- gone.
