Selfish

Given to me was power

to climb high mountains

swim deep oceans

cause peace to arise

from conflict

the tragic soul

that I am

sold myself out

refused to do my  part

causing mischief

where ere I've gone

stealing the power

to help others

squandering it

upon selfish lusts
