Under city lights

I saw two lovers dance

While the rain was pouring

As the day turned to night

One, two, three drops, then

Followed by the rest

Lights drawn across the night sky

And distant angel’s cry

It’s June, clothed in its best

But above all things

The heart knows much more

A long lost young love unearthed
