Life’s Journeys

Though we hold the map to that great ol’ destination

We can’t help but get caught up in the detours that comes our way

The winding roads we oft follow leave us in a constant state of confusion

Leaving us expending most our time backtracking

Just to get back to that familiar safe spot.
