wasn’t sure if I spoke

to a human

or a spirit

but

it told me that 

the hardest journey

a man endures

is the journey 

from his head to his heart

i asked how 

the spirit replied

connect

man needs veins

but man also needs weeds

the multidimensional inside 

our sins, faults and flaws

our triumphs, good intentions, and strength 

all wired

the spirit 

promised me one 

thing;

weeds

will suffocate you

and you 

will swear that

the end is approaching 

and that 

you just took 

your last 

breath

but always remember 

one thing:

remember your veins
