A Festival of Light

Celebrate we might

One candle for the Earth

We shall gather round the hearth

Two candles for Grace

Her life is like a race

Three candles for you

For you are so few

Four candles for more life

Five candles for less strife

Six candles to be born

Thou shalt not mourn

Seven candles for me

I hope I'm happy

Eight candles born anew

The years goes by on a canoe
