I've loved you forever,

I guess you loved me too. 

You play the music, 

I pretend to be your muse. 

You left me in summer, 

Come in the winter,

But you're never here enough to see me start to wither.

I withered for reasons unknown to you, 

You were already gone and it all happened so soon. 

I miss when you don't talk to me

And when you aren't here, 

But I revel in the times 

When you get to be near.
