Forever a gender with so much predjudice weighing it down.

Forever a gender looked down upon.

Underestimated.

Overlooked.

But I would be me, eternally,

even if all of the world said no to me.

Because the world can't say no

if I don't let it say no

I am proud to be me, to be her, to be she,

because I delight

in proving people wrong

when they say that I can't be.
