Raising Kids

The older I get, the more I realize that my parents also had no idea what they were doing at this age with kids. I’m winging it, they were winging it, their parents were winging it... nobody really knows what they are doing when raising tiny humans. In the words of my father, "Just stick with the fundamentals. Instill manners, courage, compassion, and independence the best you can with them [kids]. Please do everyone a favor though, do not raise self-entitled assholes. This world has plenty of those.” Amen Pops. Amen.
