No Fork In the Road

I am on a spiritual journey

Trotting through the purple woods

Towering mazes of violet trees offering company

Green eyes mirroring the essence of their mystical kindness

Obsidian wings following closely behind

detached but in tow

Haniel lending the bow

Releasing flooded memories from home

The purple trees quietly inviting me back into their realm

Night fell and the obsidian wings kept me dry and safe from the storm ravaging my origin

Divine whispers escaped my sleeping lips as I lofted on the down of my protector. Turquoise joy shone throughout my dreams that night

Blessed by the lilac Moon made home in the sky

My soul awoke to mauve clouds

Orchids brushed my legs as I slipped into the river bank

Amethyst speckled koi glimmered on the surface nearby

Daintily swimming after their pair

It is a very slow, graceful pursuit

I bathed in the light of the plum sun

Allowing my vessel to dance freely across the lavender water

Mirroring the koi’s pattern as silver tears slide down my face

Shining purely for the vast hearts of past loves.

May they feel the joy I do now, as my soul has reached its destination.
