Allegory

Introduction

I’ve been through the dirt, the mud and the trash

and I’ve come out clean each time. The hardest

part about each experience was facing the reality

of who threw dirt on my name, who muddied the

waters of my life, and who trashed me.

Isn’t it always the ones you least expect?

The beauty in each experience though are the

lessons. The wisdom gained, and the power that

comes with the wisdom. These experiences age

you well beyond numbered years, all the way up

into “old soul” status.

With that said, I’ve got this gift. The kind that

brings presents and prophesies through dreams.

This gift was given to me from the Universe for

rising above life, while manifesting my dreams

into reality. Most people don’t know this about

me. In fact, I made it my business to protect this

gift, because of its power. And I use it. Every time

my spirit flinches; every time my vibe doesn’t jive

with the energy surrounding me; in the face of my

enemies blatantly - I use my power to my

protective benefit.

No matter how deceptive the word play, or ill-

intentioned the act, I am made aware before it

happens. This story being told, didn’t develop

until exactly one year and three months prior to

the start of my new real-estate job.

It all started with two dreams... back in

November of 2016.

Chapter 1.

November 2016 – A Wiccan Died at Work...

Strange Thing Happened in My Sleep...

A Wiccan died at work. We had to pack her things

and figure out who in her family, to send her

belongings to.

Looking outside the office window, the scene

was a great sea. There were all kinds of animals

(land animals: horses, goats, cows, etc.), walking

in water. It was stormy outside; windy and

raining.

The trees looked like people. They looked like

humans bent down – hands to feet. One woman

was much taller than the rest. She was a giantess

compared to the human like trees behind her.

She was the complexion of the tree trunks, with

short wild hair, wearing white underwear. She

wore no bra. As I watched her out of this office

window, I noticed that she was speaking. “Y’all

didn’t take me serious. Didn’t respect the land

and people.”

Then, at the gesture of her hands, a tornado

was created, and an even greater storm.

I was terrified because it felt like the end of a

world was coming.

Then....

I woke up!

Right outside of that workplace, the Wiccan

rose up to become a mighty woman who brought

up mighty people through her rise. This dream is

significant because it plays out in my life in real

form, nearly 1 year later. I started my present job

in November of 2017, and this dream took place

in November of 2016. In my dream the workplace

setting was eerily similar to the layout of the

office in which I am presently employed.

The huge floor to ceiling double doors were the

first thing that resonated with me the moment I

stepped foot off the elevator. In the dream, the

Black woman who guided me through the office

on my first day of work, she reminded me of

Oprah Winfrey. Initially I thought it meant that I

would become famous through the help of Oprah

Winfrey while employed here; that is until I met

the team lead of the Servicing department which

is where I work. I realized she was who the dream

was referring to. Her presence is very strong, it

comes off as negative or ‘off’ energy, which can

be intimidating. This explains why the Oprah

theory came into play. Not saying Oprah’s energy

is off, but this person’s presence was meant to

resonate with me in the dream. What better way

to emphasize that than to incorporate a powerful

being, one whose presence in society, is mighty?

As well there was a printer and fax machine

that stood out in the dream. I remember that the

woman and I kept going back and forth to the

printer to make copies of something.

When I first started my current job, I was being

trained by the team lead on how to receive,

process and/or forward check payments. These

could be mortgage payments from the borrower,

or funding checks from the title company. We are

required to make copies of each check that we

receive and process and notate the loan file of the

who, what and why of the check received – this

explains the significance of the printer and fax

machine in the dream.

Quite a few of the dreams I’ve had since

working at this job, have manifested into reality

in some form or fashion.

Title: Allegory; Genre: Allegory; Age Range: all ages; Word Count: 802; Author Name: Jnaha. My project is a good fit because it is both relatable and taboo. People tend to dispell intuition, spirit guides and 'ghosts' as mental defects when in reality they are invaluable tools that can be used to help a person navigate through the complexities of life and societal norms. Incorporating the corporate america experience with spirituality gives this written piece a timeless educational feel that any reader can enjoy. The Hook: The trees looked like people. They looked like

humans bent down – hands to feet. One woman

was much taller than the rest. She was a giantess

compared to the human like trees behind her.

She was the complexion of the tree trunks, with

short wild hair, wearing white underwear. She

window, I noticed that she was speaking. “Y’all

didn’t take me serious. Didn’t respect the land

and people.”

was created, and an even greater storm.

Target Audience: All with an ear to hear; Synopsis: Spirtuality meets a diamond in the rough chosen to survive the game. This book is a sequel to my first self-published book titled Book of Life Experienced. Exiled from her bloodline through the use of Black Magic, at the young age of 19, Natiliha, the protagonist, is forced to forge ahead and make the best of her situation. Born into poverty, with a gift of reading people and situations, Natiliha broke generational curses and rose to success in the face of racism and adversity. My Bio: I am Jenaha Carter, 35, born and raised in Oakland, Ca. I am a published Poet and 3 time Author. I enjoy cooking new recipes, meeting new people and writing eccentric timeless poetry. I hope to expand my writing craft, build up my brand and gain enriching life experiences along the way.
