like the sun sets

The sun is trenchantly pensive

that when it sets and puts a distance between us

it makes sure that it departed so beautifully so that we wait and anticipate for its departure.

We don’t feel pain, regret, remorse, or any other poignant sentiment after being abandoned by it.

We just feel anticipation ...

to see the sunset again.

We could say it is eccentric yet aesthetic

I want to leave the world this way.

I will leave every person happy with my deeds

I will work

I will prosper

I will make sure to help everyone by lifting their spirits

that even my departure will not cause any remorse

I will leave them knowing that they’re emotionally invincible

And yes

just like the sun

I will be right there watching over them
