The rules are simple; use less than 50 words, You must state the colour beforehand, one must not describe the colour using the colour's name.
Red
The rush of flame,
A curl of smoke,
The poke of a needle,
A drop of bright blood,
The waking of a baby at night,
A wailing scream and a mother shushing.
