They tell you a lot of things but it'd break me to tiny bits if you go on believing them

like when they said you couldn't make it to the point you're at right now

because you didn't seek any significant help from them.

You should know by now, its inherent in humans to bring others down.

They cut you with such hateful stares, because they think you have it better 

if only they knew the sacrifices your mother made to make you look that good

they didn't see the part where you cried your soul out because your shoes were

worn out and your clothes faded and washed off.

You should know by now, nobody wants you to be better than them.

So I heard you let go of your sorry past and decided it was time to embrace a beautiful beginning. Thank goodness, all of that negativity didn't get you into thinking you were not good enough, because my darling, it'd break me forever, if you lived your life on their false applauses. 

You should know by now, you're good enough to set your goals and achieve them.
