creeping insanity

hiding it is an act,

the world is a stage-

trapped thoughts are beautiful ones,

but exposed thoughts wither away

in the glaring stagelights.

these people, so simple-

they aren't like me.

they're boring,

thinking of mundane things-

safe but useless.

i'm a creator of art,

a tortured soul,

with an empty heart

and a full head-

keeping it in the dark

until the day when

i can destroy them all.
