Rainbow Across The Sea

Like a lover's heart,

red and pulsating,

and the rainbow,

opposite of depth,

shines it's faint red across waters.

Envious of a friend's success,

green calls its mighty name,

and the rainbow hangs in the sky,

envious of nothing,

other than it will soon fade away.

Yellow bright or deep,

perhaps a coward in our midst,

and the rainbow's yellow,

shines through sunlight,

fixing its way toward sleep.

Blue, the color of hope or sadness,

one a godsend, the other, hopelessness,

and the rainbow's blue,

becomes the centerpice of magic,

that nature give us this magical wonder.

Colors of the rainbow,

colors of the mind,

colors of the heart,

they all meld into one.
