Effects of Loneliness

my heart

g r a d u a l l y

melts like puddied flesh

and hardens

to stone

(weighing down in my chest...)

now all that's left

is to take a deap breath

and wait for that someone

to take all the pressure

and show me the crystals

that lay in my breast.
