We can be kind or we can be human

Many of us

Go around

Breaking hearts

Without knowing

Making blue

Skies turn grey

Turning sunsets

Into darkness

Yet thinking

Only of

Ourselves as

We tromp

Through fields

Of light

But we

Can change

Change doesn't

Come naturally

So we have to

Do something

To make it

Happen we

Have to be

Kind

Open our hearts

To newcomers

And always care

For others

How do

We know if

We are being

Selfish if we

Can't be kind?
