rings around my ears.

but i don’t

quite hear it.

swishing skirt.

ukulele digging into my back.

tiny pink nose

poking out from

golden flower.

they glare.

i smile.

they don’t

seem to see

that all these things

make

me

me.

blinded by what they think is

"right".

but perhaps

it's me

who's blind?
