i hope there are days that the sun shines so brightly on your face that your eyes smile into a squint as the warm rays of light shower you with kisses only the april rain knows amounts of , so sweetly that you feel love from the universe itself

i hope there are nights so crisp that the cool air nips at your nose and you laugh as you watch your breath leave your mouth as it dances in the air in delight of you continuing to inhale and exhale

i hope there are mornings where you can feel the soft dew of last nights rain on the grass between your happy toes as your feet smile at the opportunity to be able to walk the grounds the earth has given you

i hope there are times where you can laugh so hard your hands jump to your stomach at the pure excitement of reassuring that it is joy you feel inside instead of pain

that when you’re alone you know that you have the whole world inside of you

and that when you’re in a crowd you know that the whole world embraces you

that when you’re sad and anchored underwater you know you will soon be pulled back up and set to sail again

and when you’re happy, floating up in down in the motions of joy that you know you don’t need to be pulled down from the clouds

that you remember your eyes thank you each day for being able to open and close no matter the outcome of their visions

and your heart is grateful to continue its drumming percussion no matter the love you feel you have received

that your hands would rather hold each other than nothing at all

and that every part of you has purpose and every purpose has a part for you

that every moment isn’t meant to be full of joy but to be lived fully no matter the means

so no matter the sadness

and no matter the worry

know that every thought has an end and every feeling has a beginning

so slowly as our earth rotates we will too and with it we will grow to know the love we are capable of and the strength that we have always had inside
