Did you read my words alright?

I forgot what peace is

and I don’t know how to find it.

Been searching my whole life for answers,

I know I can be a bit defiant.

Talkings never been my strong suit

And I won’t even try to hide it.

Feelings are sometimes hidden by a layer or two,

To be honest sometimes I can’t even find them.

I’m not gonna sit here and say I’m fine

Because lying’s never been alright.

But I can’t really communicate words,

Since my mouth and mind are in a fight.
