Abducted the finest scraps

from the men I captured

threw out the dregs

sorted through the fragments

assembled anew

the man for all reasons

scarecrow of my needs

took the caring heart from one

wise brain of the next

sensual body of the third

(how well I knew him!)

bedroom eyes

of the subsequent one

Forgotten his name

thick shiny hair of the fifth

brooding face of Oh Yes!

Oh Yes was the best!

Can’t remember the rest

of catalogued men

rolled into one
