HER

When I saw her,

I felt free,

I felt relaxed,

As happy as can be,

I saw her and felt normal,

Like nothing had changed,

Like my world hadn't fallen apart,

With her sitting there,

Smiling at me,

I felt I wasnt drowning in misery,

Like weight had been lifted from me,

I saw her and I felt fixed,

Like I could breathe,

Like I could think,

When I saw her I knew,

I knew that my home had two legs

and a heartbeat,

That in the moment she was here,

She herself was here,

Although not in my arms,

When I saw her,

I felt at home,

As one should.
