How I awoke

Today I feel like the worst version of myself

Mood swings dance about, singing awfully

as if I were at a bar with a karaoke

Shifting tones and mixing lyrics

My universe resides under a new image

Bitter like coffee and cold like winter

were not on my to-do list or so I pictured

This is what my emotions have in store

Go with it or ignore it, but do not punish me for it

Full-mental control is not at my disposal

as it is being tampered with like experimented soil
