what frustrates

me is not that

people lie.

that can't

be helped.

lies are

golden threads

woven into

conversation,

that prevent

it from

falling

apart.

it's that

they tell

themselves

it's for the

sake of the

someone else.

doing

it because

of

love.

but really,

they're just

attempting

to mask

their own

mistakes.
