Do you sing? Try to sing? Sing out of tune? Don't care what people think about how you sound because it's fun? Then read the description. Let's have a party!
Almost two years ago, a friend set up a challenge for fun to post a link to a video of a person singing. The whole thing was a lot of fun and it actually connected people to a commonality of another form of art. We as writer's are talented people, be it writing, singing, dancing, painting, etc. So I ask that you play along in this fun challenge. The automatic winner will receive a certificate ... You can post up to three links ... and for those of you who have no videos or audios, then I recommend singsnap.com (audio or video)... or voicespice.com (audio only) ...there you can record ... because 15 words is the required minimum, add to the post what you will. Make sure the link to your song is in your post. Just PLEASE ... tag me in the comment section: @Danceinsilence ... I will start this puppy off and do hope to see many of you come out to this party!

Singing

I sing sometimes, mostly when I’m the only one in the house (rare!) or in the car with my roommate & in the right mood. Not generally around other people, the notable exception being in chorus (apparently sometimes I pull faces, so I tend not to sing on my own because in choral music I’m usually deadpan but hey, I’m busy concentrating on sounding nice over smiling). Finally got past the age of voice cracks (they hit hard senior year of high school, that was fun), but my voice still isn’t always where I left it in terms of range, if that makes sense. Case in point, today was apparently a soprano day (I'm usually an alto 2, but anywhere alto 2 thru soprano 2 is fair game). Plus I tend to be super quiet because it always sounds to me like I’m speaking more loudly than I really am (thanks, sound propagation along bones of the skull). Anyways, here are a few of the ones I like singing along to.
