A Partnership – from the lens of an ambitious woman

I want to talk about you.

I want to hear the things you’ve been struggling with.

I want to know about the things you’ve learned.

I’m interested in your thoughts.

I care about how you feel.

I’m dying to see your blueprint.

I want to watch the wheels turn

but I need to see the cogs to understand the

machine.

Sharing your mind is intimate.

Participating in it, is a privilege.

And playing an active role is an honor.

I never want to fix, only help.

I’m reluctant to even use the word “help”.

That would insinuate that you can’t do it on your own.

That’s not my intention,

and hardly the case.

I’m a tool,

A secret weapon

A card up your sleeve, if you will.

I’m not here at your disposal,

but to “help” you win.

I’m in your corner,

I’m on your team,

But you are the fighter,

You’re in the ring.

Think of me as a supplement.

So dangerously enhancing

It should be reviewed by the FDA.

Learn the rules, play the game.

I’d put my money on you any day.

And if you’d let me,

We could rig the system.
