Contrasting Sentences
Write a sentence with two contrasting halves. A sentence with an ending that is completely unexpected. For instance, the pig-tailed toddler smiled as she fired a pistol into the crowd or he rose the take-away coffee cup to his lips and took a large bite. Have fun!
What?
"I am ready," she whispered, her voice filling her with strength as she closed her eyes and continued to hide.
"I can win this," she never moved.
"I am safe," suddenly, the air was peirced with a blood-curling scream.
