I'm left here with carnage latched onto my throat

Choking from an empty, hollowed grip

Blood climbing higher and higher, suffocating

Dreary eyes watch on without a care in the world

Unto death, I ascend further

The apex, and I descend to madness

Faltering only to speak your name

Leaving a trail without a trace

I give one final curtesy to my audience

The show will always go on without me

I hear nothing, no joy, no sadness, no hatred

Only silence as I receive my curtain call

Growing darker, into nothing but a whisper

Reaching nowhere, exhale only a whimper

Gaze deeply

For it will be the last of my soul you see

Whisped about the wind

Stones as heavy as silk

Jostled in the casket

You fell on soft words

Sewn together by the damned

Losing the wherewithal to see

Oh, how you pray to be prey

That bristling snake clutches my brittle spirit

Death's jaws clench my eyes shut

The condemned reach for my ankles

Dangling like bait for the beasts

You wove your web to trap my worthlessness

Giving yourself something worthwhile in the process

Ashen bones fill the cracks in your foundation

I'm left to rot deep below

I'm not bitter

I've lived a life void of meaning

Just delicate, frail memories

Swept away, in the expanse of time

You gave me love, you gave me hope

What does it matter, if it was a farse?

It was more real to me than reality itself

As life flutters from me, I won't forget

You refrain from true commitment

Pardon your commitment of me to my tomb

Sealing it with a kiss, sealing it with a stone

Blessing me to my grave
