fight or flight

He said these words to me

“You have Flight or Flight, you fight but fly off every time!!!”

This stung

but truth is not meant for feeling.

Reeling slightly, I stumbled

“Yeah, I guess but it’s always been for the best”

Yet with him, I fled when truly I should have planted my feet instead.

Heaven help me,

hindsight is foresight

and this last endeavour

taught I am not always in the right.
