We're coexisting sep'rately,

my mirror selves and I,

in alternate realities

'neath vastly different skies.

The frequencies that shape our worlds

are incompatible,

ensuring that the lines don't blur-

and, yet, I feel their pull:

A snapshot here or soundbyte there,

sharp tune of Déjà vu-

two waves in phase where time is shared

before they split anew.
