Quest for competency

Alas!! a moment has come when we rejoice together, SARS-CoV-2 is no more. We emerge from our shelters. The light is too bright, what date is this? my hair is stiff, my nails are chapped, my skin is glowing but making steps has been made difficult by the consistent eating and sleeping. We conquered, that is the important thing.

The creator of the universe heard our cry, yes he heard our prayers. Nature conspired for us, that we emerged as winners.

The fight was over we won by a great margin. Many of our solder fell, gave in and got tired of it all. It was a sad awakening, a period when together we fell and divided we stood. The new normal was to work from home, no hugging,no shaking of hands like my country men prefer in greetings, no gathering in places of worship. We grew fat as the distance between the fridge and the couch was very small. Ooh! I have a business idea that crossed my mind during the quarantine period. We are out, working to grow.

Covid-19 has finally bowed, the quest for compentency has revealed the winner.

We need each other to stand in for prayers,

we need each other to support the bereaved,

we need each other to fight any pandemic,

we need each other to support the government,

we need each other to win.
